18th Annual Fort Wayne
Canoe & Kayak Marathon Races
St. Joseph River, Fort Wayne, Indiana

The Indiana Division of the United States Canoeing Association would like to thank Jerry Begue, Pam Begue, Erin Begue, & Jim Anderson for their support of the 18th Annual Fort Wayne Canoe & Kayak Marathon Races, on Saturday, June 22, and Sunday, June 23, 2002.

The weather was bright, sunny & hot!! with temps in the mid 90's for both days.  Water level was normal, but the lack of rain had the water with virtually no flow.  Entrants included paddlers from Indiana, Ohio, & Michigan.
