St Joseph River - Elkhart, Indiana
water data:  19.5' and 3,670 cf/s

Paddlers of all skill types enjoyed the new modified course for again this year in the 27th Annual Elkhart Truth Great race.  Spectators got a better than average view of the race as the competitors passed by the finish line on three occasions.  The water was a good level for paddling and the upstream leg  with fast current provided just enough of a challenge for all paddlers.  Also the addition of a 4 mile recreational course provided ample length with an all downstream course.

The race turnout produced 58 total paddlers and an equally impressive turnout for 12 Barton Cup Paddlers!
