Sanctioned Indiana U.S.C.A. Points Event

We invite you to participate in the 2009 Three Rivers Festival Canoe and Kayak Races.

All races start and finish at the Shoaff Park Boat Ramp (Address: 6401 Saint Joe Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46835).
NO SHUTTLING necessary!

Registration and awards ceremony will all be held at this same location.
All paddler's will receive a completion certification with their name, event, finishing place and finishing time.

The race courses:

Citizen's Class:
Starting from the Shoaff Park boat ramp, the racers will proceed down-stream on the St. Joe River to the Washington Center Rd Bridge. Making a clockwise turn around the bridge pillars they will then proceed up-stream back to Shoaff Park. This course requires no shuttling!
Approximate completion times for the 4 mile course will range from 40 - 60 minutes.

Indiana U.S.C.A. Points Races:
Starting from the Shoaff Park boat ramp, the racers will proceed down-stream on the St. Joe River to the Colesium Blvd. Bridge. Making a clockwise turn around  any concrete pillar of the bridge, they will then proceed up-stream back to Shoaff Park. They will make a counter-clockwise turn at the park around a buoy and proceed down-stream to the Washington Center Rd Bridge and finally back up-stream to Shoaff Park.  This course requires no shuttling!
Approximate completion times for the 8 mile course will range from 60 - 75 minutes..


Entry Fee Per Person:
USCA Races:    $20.00 - for all events
Citizens Races:  $10.00 adults / $5.00 for 15 and under - for all events

(Max. Length: 18' for Plastic and Fiberglass boats; 18'6" for Aluminum boats)
