The Indiana Division of the United States Canoe Association would like to thank Erin Begue, Pam Begue, Jim Anderson & Kurt Begue for their support of the Three Rivers Festival Canoe & Kayak Marathon Races.
The recreational course of 3.6 miles was from Shoaff Park to the St. Joe Center Rd Bridge and back, twice. The competition course of 6.8 miles was from Shoaff Park to Coliseum Rd bridge and back to Shoaff, then a second smaller loop from Shoaff to St. Joe Center Rd Bridge and back.
The water level was perfect and deep in all areas. There was a 0.05 mph current with a small breeze in the afternoon. The weather was overcast in the morning and sunny in the afternoon.
