Date/Time:     Saturday, September 5, 2009 Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. Morning session races start at 9:30 a.m.

 

Place:             Races start and finish at Hermance Park in Bristol, Indiana

Located off State Road 120 behind The River Inn Restaurant.

 

Directions:     From 80/90 take exit 101 (Bristol). Turn left. Go south 1 mile to stoplight (State Road 120).  Turn right.  Go west one block to the River Inn.  Take a right and down the hill to the park.

 

Events:           Session One - 9:30 a.m. - 5 Mile Course

Classes:         C-2  Pro Canoe                       C-2  Standard Canoe

K-2  ICF Kayak                       K-2  Sea Kayak

 

                        Session Two - 11:45 a.m. - 5 mile Course

                        Classes:         C-2 Mixed Cruiser                  Recreational Canoe

The race and clock starts with the Bristol Fire Department noon siren (approximately 12:04 PM)

No delayed starts. No heats. No excuses.

 

* Competition Kayak defined – ICF K-1, ICF Trainers, Downriver Kayaks, Wildwater Boats, and Surf Skis. USCA Downriver and K-1 Open points will be awarded by class finish but awards will be for overall finish.

      

Awards after each session

 

Note:    All race and class categories represent a Men's and Women's Division

and will be awarded separately.

 

Entry Fee:      $25.00 covers all races.  Fee for 16 years and under $12.00.  T-Shirts for paid entrants adult or youth.
